Advice on going to a Swingers Club
You've tried placing and answering ads, but you haven't
found what you are looking for.You have tried to talk people you
know into the swinging scene, but no joy. Maybe a club is for you!
Swingers clubs can be great fun. There are wonderful
people to meet and great friendships to be made. There was a time
when all the other swingers were beginners, so they understand your
feelings and respect your decisions.
Most clubs have dance areas, social areas where you
can talk and get to know each other and either rooms or closed off
areas where you can enjoy sexual activities with other swingers,
some have places that this can happen, but other guests can see
(for the exhibitionists out there). They usually have some sort of
bar. Check before you go, as some clubs only sell soft drinks, you
may have to take your own alcohol. Remember to check whether its
a couples or a singles night, as singles nights can get pushy.
Remember...don't be pushy, NO means NO,
either from you or the other swingers, you don't have to do anything
if you don't want to. Below is a list of commom questions I get
asked about swingers clubs.
Q. What kind of people would I find in a Swingers Club?
A. Swingers in general are just normal openminded people. People
that use clubs are exactly the same, they just know where to go
for fun. You might find people into some sort of fetish, bi people
ect, depending on the type of club you decide to visit, but they
are still very nice people.
Q. Can I go and just look around?
A. Of course you can, there is no pressure when you go to a club.
You may be asked if you would like some fun, but if you say "no
thanks", you won't get pestered, and if you do, there are staff
there to help you. You do not have to do anything if you aren't
comfortable.
Q. Do I have to pay to get in?
A. Most of the time, everyone has to pay to get in, depending on
the Club, some allow single females in for free, some don't. Single
men have to pay, and they are limited to the amount of men allowed.
Check with the club before you go.
Q. Do they sell alcohol?
A. Most clubs aren't liscenced to sell alcohol, but do sell soft
drinks, so you can take your own alcohol, but must buy soft drinks
there.
Q. Do they have people to look after you?
A. There are friendly staff around the club all the time, if you
have any problems at all, you can tell them, and they will try their
best to help you.
Q. Do I take condoms with me?
A. You can take your own condoms with you, but most clubs sell them
anyway.
Q. Could I go on my own, or do I have to take someone with
me?
A. It is totally up to you, depending on wether you feel comfortable
on your own. You will be safe enough once you get to the club.
Q. Is there a dress code?
A. Most clubs have different theme nights, so there is a dress code.
If you are going to a sauna/jacuzzi club then it is usually just
a towel that you wear. The best thing to do is to ring the club
before you go or check out their website if they have one.
Q. Would there be more males than females?
A. This depends on the club, most have nights for couples/females
only, or nights where only so many single men are allowed. Check
with the club before you go.
Q. Once I have paid to get in, can I leave if it was not
what I was looking for?
A. You can leave at any time, there are no restrictions as to how
long you have to be in there
Q. If I decided to have fun with someone, would everyone
be watching or can we go into a room and close the door?
A. Most clubs have numerous playrooms, they try to cater for everyone,
so there will be rooms where you can go and close the door without
anyone watching you. There will also be rooms with windows so that
you can let people watch but not join in if you wish. It is up to
you.
