On entering the race course drive to the mini roundabout and turn right follow the road down and over the race course and into the main car-park. It's a very popular spot with a fair amount of boss/secretary activity during the day! I have seen a number of repeat performances but remember it's a family park too. |

Be warned, though: Police and TVs & gays frequent during the week. Near Slaithwaite, W Yorks... J23 at Colne Valley. Try the New Lane picnic area at the top of the valley plus the car-park and toilets (closed in winter) on the hill overlooking the main road. We started here and have tried most areas of the site. A quiet part is The Yorkshire Sculpture Park, about half a mile away, in the overflow carpark. There are a number of parking places hidden in the trees. We have had quite a lot of participation there with single men who we have invited in with us. Great site for the beginner. Follow this road under a bridge and about 200-300 yards there is a sharp bend to the right on the bend is a parking spot. I`ve visited the spot 4 times in the last 2-3 weeks and twice seen action. once in a car in the parking spot and once round the back of it behind an earth bank. | New Location : Market Weigthton A1079 Layby We Visited many of the sites over the weekend and nothing happening. I am begining to think they are all made up. Pontefract racecourse, been twice, not one car. Sawwood Forest, no one there. Castle Hill,nobody there. Knaresborugh, nothing. Staxton Hill, nobody at all. (would make excellent site). Doncaster racecourse, we were the only car there. We are a couple looking for other couples and singles. I get plenty of male atention but hubby feels left out. Any places in Yorkshire we can get some acion please. PS found a good site at last( layby between Markt Weighton and Bishops Burton A1079)had a great night last night but a bit too far for regular nights. Will definately go again.
